Build your own bundle

Let customers build their own bundle by selecting items from a pool of products or variants.

In this tutorial, we'll create Build Your Own Cookie Box, where customers can choose any 3 cookies from:

• Chocolate Chip Cookie

• Oatmeal Raisin Cookie

• Peanut Butter Cookie

Navigate to Create bundle > Standard.

In step 1, click Create new product.

Add product titled Build Your Own Cookie Box with three options:

• Cookie selection 1: Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, Peanut Butter

• Cookie selection 2: Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, Peanut Butter

• Cookie selection 3: Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, Peanut Butter

In step 2, add components for each bundle variant. Since multiple variants share same components, use bulk configuration.

For Cookie selection 1 option, follow these steps:

1. To all variants where the option is set to Chocolate Chip, add Chocolate Chip Cookie.

   1. In the Cookie selection 1 option filter, select Chocolate Chip. For the other option filters, select All.

   2. Select all filtered variants by clicking the header checkbox.

   3. Click Add component, select Chocolate Chip Cookie from the picker, and click Add.

2. Repeat for Oatmeal Raisin and Peanut Butter.

Repeat the same steps for Cookie selection 2 and Cookie selection 3 option.

After adding components, set discount and click Save in the save bar at the top.

Since Shopify products are limited to 3 options, customers can't choose more than 3 items with Standard bundle type. We're developing Infinite Options bundle type to overcome this limitation.
