Optional component

Let customers choose to include a specific component in a bundle.

In this tutorial, we'll create Baking Starter Kit, which consists of:

• 1 × Mixing Bowl

• 1 × Measuring Cup

• 1 × Silicone Spatula (optional)

Navigate to Create bundle > Standard.

In step 1, click Create new product.

Add product titled Baking Starter Kit with an option Optional item. For option values, add Silicone Spatula, and None.

The Silicone Spatula variant will include the optional item, while the None variant will not.

In step 2, add components for each variant. Since both variants include the Mixing Bowl and Measuring Cup, you can add them in bulk.

Select both variants and click Add component.

From the picker, select Mixing Bowl and Measuring Cup, and click Add.

Next, for the Silicone Spatula variant, click Add component button in the Actions column.

Select Silicone Spatula from the picker and click Add.

Next, set discount for each variant. For example, you can apply 5% discount to the None variant, and 10% discount to the Silicone Spatula variant.

Finally, click Save in the top save bar to save configuration.
