Mix and match (mix variant)

There are two types of mix & match bundle:

  1. Mix variants: Customers choose variants from a fixed set of products.

  2. Mix products: Customers choose products from a predefined set for each option.

In this tutorial, we'll create a mix & match bundle of Mix variants type.

  • Bundle: Home Fragrance Mix

  • Products

    • Scented Candle (variants: Lavender, Vanilla, Citrus)

    • Reed Diffuser (variants: Cedarwood, Eucalyptus)

    • Room Spray (variants: Rose, Linen)

Navigate to Create bundle > Standard.

In step 1, click Create new product.

Add product titled Home Fragrance Mix with three options:

  • Candle scent: Lavender, Vanilla, Citrus

  • Diffuser scent: Cedarwood, Eucalyptus

  • Room spray scent: Rose, Linen

In step 2, add components for each bundle variant. Since multiple variants share same components, use bulk configuration.

For example, let's add Scented Candle - Lavender to all variants where the Candle scent option is set to Lavender.

In the Candle scent option filter, select Lavender. In other option filters, select All.

Select all filtered variants by clicking header checkbox, and click Add component.

From the picker, select Scented Candle - Lavender and Click Add.

It will be added as a component to all selected variants. If you want to set the quantity as well, click ellipsis button and select Edit shared components from the menu.

Set quantity for shared components

You can set discount in bulk as well. In this example, let's apply 10% discount to all variants.

For each option filter, select All. Select all variants with header checkbox and click Set discount.

In the modal, select Percentage off discount type and input 10%. Click Save.

Finally, click Save in the save bar at the top to save the configuration.
